Extended Hours

From November 2011 extended hours surgeries will be held weekly on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening until 8.00pm. You can see a Doctor or a Practice Nurse during these surgeries.  For further details please see the noticeboard or call the main surgery telephone number below.

Out of Hours

For the doctor's out of hours service either phone the practice telephone number 0117 9493988 or phone 08451210209 direct.

Nurses are also available at the Walk In Centre (on the Knowle West Health Park, Downton Road) from 9.00am until 9.00pm and can give advice on minor problems.  Tel 01179030000 or phone NHS Direct for advice on 0845 4647.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
